Lonnie "Pete" Butler

Lonnie B Butler was born to James Butler and Virginia Young in Jefferson, Ga. 

He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He also worked at Norfolk and Southern Company for many years.  He married his lovely wife Alma Butler in 1981. He loved outdoors, cooking, gardening, and his pet dog Louis. 

He was preceded in death by his parents James Butler and Virginia Young and one brother Johnny Boy Butler. 

He leaves to cherish his memory to his devoted wife Alma Butler, children Virginia (Bentz) Tate, Sonja Butler, and Antwone Butler, pet Louis Butler all of Gainesville, Ga. Grandkids Jermesse, Jermond, Akeem, Breaushia Butler, Nataija Millsap. 7 great grand kids and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

The visitation for Mr. Butler will be Thursday, February 10th between the hours of 12-8pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
