Wilma Jean Dalton

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Wilma Jean Dalton, age 77 of Athens, Georgia, formerly of Jefferson who entered rest Saturday, February 5, 2022.  Mrs. Dalton was born in Jefferson, Georgia a daughter of the late Wilburn and Ruth Presley, was a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dalton is preceded by her husband Jeff Dalton.

Survivors include a daughter Jeanie Willis and her husband Robbie of Commerce.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Brenson Jennings officiating with burial to follow in Crooked Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, February 8, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home.
