Patsy Jean Howard

Mrs. Patsy Jean Howard age 72 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Wednesday February 02, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.    

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday February 06, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Mt. Zion U.M.C. Cemetery. Rev. Jonathan Sutton Will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday February 04, 2022 and Saturday February 05, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   

Patsy was born on September 11, 1949 in Clarkesville, Ga to the late Robert Lee Crane and Ondia Dee Loggins Dodd. Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl Howard, sister, Peggy Brown, grandson, Shane Buffington, grand-daughter, Carrie Harrell, nephew, Matt “Chu” Crane, step-father, Ray W. Dodd.     

Mrs. Howard is survived by her children, David and Nancy Greenway of Maysville, Diondi and Jeff Abernathy of Gainesville, Delanie and Tony Gailey of Clermont, Delisa and Bud Hill of Jefferson, siblings, Marie Ramey of Oakwood, Kathy Diaz of Gainesville, Katie Crane of Oakwood, Bobby Crane of Toccoa, Ellene Standridge of Toccoa, Sue Brown of Lavonia, special friend and caregiver, Marsha “Trudy” Burch, grandchildren, Carliena Smith, Rusty “Pooh Bear” Greenway, Cindy Ellen, Bran-Dee Gailey, Dillon Harrell, Deanna Margavich, Jennifer Ellisor, Jeffery Abernathy, Brayden Hill, 19 great-grandchildren,  and a number of close family members and friends.
