Jerry Thomas Dover

Jerry Thomas Dover, 79 of Murrayville died Wednesday February 2, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.

Born in Macon, Georgia, Mr. Dover had lived in Hall County for most of his life.  He was the son of the late Clyde and Leola Hulsey Dover.  Mr. Dover worked for Chicopee Manufacturing Company until they closed, and then went to work for ACH Technology until he retired in 2016.

Mr. Dover was a loving husband and father that always went above and beyond for his family.  He was a friend to everyone that he ever met, and he was a very hard working man.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Pat Stephens Dover, Murrayville, daughters and sons-in-law, Tracey and Patrick Elliott, Murrayville, Dana and Terry Waycaster, Buford, grandchildren, TJ and Meagan Elliott, Fair Hope, Alabama, Dylan and Courtney Elliott, Gainesville, 5 great grandchildren, Brianna Elliott, Allie Elliott, Jax Elliott, Izzy Elliott, Riley Elliott, brother and sister-in-law, James and Vivian Dover, Oakwood and two nieces also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday February 6, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Steve Baker will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
