John Harvey Hill

Mr. John Harvey Hill, 75, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. His son, Cleon Walden will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on February 23, 1946, he was the son of the late Clarence and Lillian Dover Hill. He was retired from H D Marine with over 20 years of service where he was service manager. Mr. Hill was a member of First Baptist Church and was a member of the Anglers Sunday School class. He was an avid fisherman and loved every second.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his father in law and mother in law, Ron and Flossie Attaway and sister in law, Vivian Hill.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 30 years, Malissa Hill of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Cleon and Katie Walden of Dahlonega; daughter and son in law, Brittany Hill and Austin Floyd of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Hope and Robert Titus of Milton, FL; brother Bobby Hill of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Lyons and Jamie Walden, Madeline Floyd, Josephine Titus and Alexandria Titus and a number of other loving relatives.
