Charles "Charlie" Rodriguez Turley

Charles “Charlie” Rodriguez Turley, 70 of Cleveland born October 11, 1951, went home to be with his heavenly Father on January 26, 2022.

Charlie was born in Alice, Texas and grew up in Chicago, Illinois.  He graduated from Senn High School in Chicago. Once he had been married a few years and had a family of his own, he moved to Gainesville, Georgia.  He would still visit family in Alice and Chicago as often as he could.

Charlie was the son of the late San Juana Rodriguez and Jimmie Bernal Turley.  He left behind his wife Deborah “Debbie,” and three children he was immensely proud of — daughter, Victoria “Vickie” Turley of Jefferson, Georgia; son, Stephen and wife, Jennifer “Jenni”, of Winder, Georgia; son, Charles “Chuck” and wife, Kimberly of Dacula, Georgia.  Charlie also leaves behind five gifted grandchildren  —  Cameron, Cailyn, and Kyle (Chuck and Kimberly); Emma and Anna (Stephen and Jenni); One loving brother  — Jimmie Bernal Turley Jr, of Roselle, Illinois.

Charlie was a skilled pressman who took a lot of pride in his work.  He enjoyed woodworking, watching old westerns on television, and fishing in his free time.  Those who knew him knew just how much he loved his community, his friends, and all of his family, near and far.  His family was his most fulfilling legacy.  His loving and giving spirit will be missed greatly by all that knew him.

A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled for a later date.
