Eunice L. Jones

Mrs. Eunice L. Jones, 90, of Pomona Park FL., passed away Thursday January 27, 2022 at Crescent Lake House.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Gainesville, GA.

Born on March 22, 1931 in Quitman, GA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd H. Rustin, Sr. and the late Rosa Lee Hiers Rustin.

Eunice was a registered nurse who graduated from Brenau Nursing School. She was a nurse her entire life. She traveled with her husband, Gene, with the military for over 20 years. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge in Crescent City, FL, Chapter 1825. She had lived in Pomona Park, FL since 1974 and was the last surviving member of her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, MSgt. Eugene P. Jones; brother, TSgt. Floyd H. Rustin, Jr.

Mrs. Jones is survived by numerous cousins.
