Kermit Marvin Evans, Sr.

Kermit Marvin Evans, Sr. age 81 of Gainesville passed away January 27, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.

Kermit was born in Alto to the late Robert Tot Evans & the late Mary Etta Bowen Whitehead. He was a paint & body man at Kents Paint & Body. He worked 15 years delivering cars with Carriage Nissan & Jackie Jones. He also worked as a security guard with AquaLand Marina. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Edwards Evans; son, Kermit Marvin Evans, Jr.; and a sister, Sybil Turner.

Left to cherish his memory, sons, Clarence Victor Evans, Steven Alonzo Evans & Michael Blake Evans; grandchildren, Chance Evans, Ryder Evans, Ryan Evans, Jozlon Sthal, Athena Akers, David Akers & Aalyah Akers; great grandchildren, Nova Sthal & Litta Hatcher.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday Jan. 31, 2022 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shane Evans & Rev. Robin Dyer officiating. Burial will be private at a later date with his wife at Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday Jan. 30, 2022 at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
