Wayne Grizzle

Wayne Grizzle age 87 of Duluth, Georgia passed away on January 23, 2022. He was born on February 6, 1934 in Suches, Georgia later moving to Duluth, Georgia. He was a farmer and retired from the commercial printing industry.  Mr. Grizzle was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Hill #2. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Mr. Grizzle is preceded in death by his parents Arthur B. and Lillian Grizzle, son Terry Wayne Grizzle, brothers, Junior Arthur Grizzle, and Robert Lee Grizzle.

Mr. Grizzle is survived by his wife of 65 years Jeanette Ward Grizzle, of Duluth, Georgia; sons Mike (Debbie) Grizzle of Blairsville, Georgia and Gary Grizzle of Marietta, Georgia, and daughter Marilynn (Jay) Miles of Alpharetta, Georgia; grandchildren; Mark Grizzle of Cumming, Georgia, Brian Miles of Alpharetta, Georgia, Brent Miles of Marietta, Georgia, and Melissa Miles of Charleston, South Carolina; as well as sisters, Virginia Anderson and Reatha Lee. Other nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive  

Family will receive friends on Thursday January 27, 2022 from 12pm until 2pm at Dahlonega Funeral Home. Funeral Service also on Thursday at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Hill Church #2 in Suches, Georgia. Rev. Allen Swafford to officiate.
