Glenn Thomas Worley, 21, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022. Glenn was the son of Jeff and Nancee Worley, big brother to Andrew Worley and grandson of Patsy and Preston Worley, Pat and Morris Thomas.
Glenn was a graduate of North Forsyth High School Class of 2019 and the Kentucky Welding Institute in 2020. Employed by Shumate Mechanical as a pipe welder, Glenn worked on many steam engines, welding projects and other things that people needed fixed.
In addition to his parents and little brother, Glenn is survived by his aunts and uncles, Scott and Amy Worley, Melissa and John Nash, Deidre and David Miller, Richard and Shannon Thomas; cousins, Matthew and Morgan Worley, Olivia Worley, Cheyenne Nash, Izzy Nash, Ross and Morgan Miller, Nate Miller & fiancé Sarah Jeffcoat and Nora Thomas.
Glenn was well loved by not only family and friends here locally but across the United States. If he knew how to do it he would help you. If he didn’t know how to do it, he would learn, then help you. He was a friend to all!
A Celebration of Glenn’s life will be held Friday, January 28, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Nicky Gravitt and John Nash officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 27, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Glenn’s honor to the Cumming Antique Steam and Gas Association, in care of Sandra Hubbard, 4060 Browns Bridge Road; Cumming, GA 30041.
