Pearl Revis Swansey, age 75, of Hoschton, GA passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was born on April 11, 1946 in Marion, McDowell County, North Carolina to the late Wilburn Wiley "Bill" and Carolee Gertha (Holllifield) Revis. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Wilma Holland, Lucille Fowler, Louise Lewis, Florence Frady, Betty Jean Wiessner, Ruby Revis, Ruth Revis, Doris Williams; brothers, Earl Revis and Billy Revis. Mrs. Swansey is survived by her children and their spouses, Teresa and Rodney Carter of Flowery Branch, GA; Jimmy Swansey, and Durrell and Debbie Swansey of Hoschton, GA; grandchildren and their spouses, Josh and Amanda Carter, Chad and Alyssa Carter, Sydney and Austin Brown, Matthew and Heather Smith, Dalton Swansey, and Megan Swansey; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Ralph and Linda Key Revis of Flowery Branch, GA; and Jerry Revis of Alto, GA. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Mrs. Swansey was a 1964 graduate of Dacula High School, and was a retired restaurant manager at Wendy’s. She was of the Baptist faith. Pearl was affectionately known to most everyone as "Granny", "Granny Pearl", or "Pearly Baby". She loved her family over anything else. She loved babies and children regardless if they were related or not, they were "hers". Funeral Services are scheduled for 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Rev. David Pruitt will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until service hour on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
