Judy Elaine Franks

Ms. Judy Elaine Franks, 69, of Gainesville passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at The Oaks at Limestone following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor John Kinsey will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on September 7, 1952 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Pat and Alma Irene Ransom Flanagan. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Franks is preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters and grandson Dylan Gowan.

Ms. Franks is survived by her daughter and son in law, Sasha and Mike Morris, grandchildren, Lani, Kinsley, Wayne Morris and great grandchild, Ella Morris all of Commerce; son and daughter in law, Shannon and Donna Gowan of Ila, GA, grandchildren, Gage, Brannon and Alyssa Gowan of Ila, GA; great grandchild, Ashlyn Gowan of Ila, GA; sister, Shirley Mayfield of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
