Mary Kathleen Hughes

Ms. Mary Kathleen Hughes Perry, age 57, of Mt. Airy, GA died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.  Ms. Perry was born in Athens to the late Frank and Veronica Mary Deitz Hughes.  She was a homemaker.

Ms. Perry is survived by her daughters, Nikki Lomax of Mt. Airy, Tiffany Perry of Commerce and Shannon Singleton of Elberton; brothers, Ned Hughes of Watkinsville and Jeff Hughes of Flowery Branch; sisters, Margaret Chancey of Winder and Cindy Childs of Commerce; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, January 21 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Vaughn Howington officiating.  Interment will follow in Unity Christian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 to 2 PM on Friday.
