Janice Elaine Tracy

Janice Elaine Tracy, age 63 of Covington, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022.  She was preceded in death by  her husband Dennis Tracy, sister Martha Seaman, and her parents Charlie and Barbara Allen.  She is survived by her sister Yvonne Allen, brother and sister-in-law Mark and Nancy Allen; in-laws; Robert Seaman, Kevin and Rose Tracy, Chip and Cheri Loy; nieces and nephews, Marlo and Stephen Cooper, Bobby Seaman, Scott Seaman, Natalie Martoccia & Darrell Rodriguez, Aimee and Kevin Nesbit, Michelle Tracy, Tracy and Josh Herchline, Kelcy Loy, Hunter Tracy and Rachel “Forrester” Allen, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.  Janice was married to her husband Denny for 17 wonderful years.  She was retired after being with the US Postal Service for over 35 years.

She loved spending time her nieces and nephews and their children, reading books, and vacationing to North Myrtle Beach with family and friends. Janice had a quick wit with a dry sense of humor.

In her youth,  she worked most summers at her sister and brother-in-law’s summer camp, Raw Hide Ranch, in Woodstock, NY from 1972 through 1985.  She has wonderful memories of her time there and has maintained contact with many of the campers and staff through out the years.

A memorial service and visitation will be announced at a later date.
