Jerry David Tanner

Mr. Jerry David Tanner age 74 of Flowery Branch, Ga passed away on Thursday January 13, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center- Braselton, Ga following an extended illness.    

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Tim Strickland will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday January 17, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.      

Jerry was born on October 12, 1947 in Buford, Ga to the late William J. Tanner and Elsie Mackey Tanner. He was retired as a Diesel Mechanic, Shop Foreman with B&A Equipment and was a member of Walnut Fork Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sue Allison Tanner, sisters, Elna Jean Patterson, Gladys Epps, and brother, Wilburn Tanner. 

Mr. Tanner is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Malinda Tanner of Lawrenceville, daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Tony McDaniel of Dacula, son, Calvin Tanner of Flowery Branch, sister, Carolyn Simmons of Carrollton, Ga, grandchildren, Kaylie and Cody Papp, Megan Tanner, Allison Tanner, Colton Tanner, Austin Tanner, and a number of other close family members and friends.
