Thermon LeRoy Maddox, age 76 of Commerce, GA passed away January 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Denise Maddox; parents, Ernest and Lula Bell Maddox; brothers, E.A., Ezra, Emory, Chester, John Henry, Gene, Anderson, J.E., Carl Maddox; sisters, Flossie Cofer, Louise McDaniel, Reba Maddox. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda Simonds Maddox, Commerce, GA; children, Jamey Maddox, Commerce, GA, Jason Maddox, Commerce, GA; grandchildren, Lindsey Reynolds, Commerce, GA, Jordan Maddox, Banks Co.; 1 great-grandson, J.J. Clark; sisters, Louena (Lamar Porter) Titshaw, Buford, GA, Marjorie Sudderth, Buford, GA, Barbara (Doug) Stephens, Gainesville, GA; host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Maddox was born on May 26, 1945 in Buford, GA. He received his education at North Gwinnett High School and was an electrician by trade. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Buford, GA and he was a minister. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Rev. Frank Pratt officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the funeral home.
