Syble Laverne Barrett Beck, age 81 of Nicholson, GA passed away on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022.
Born on Nov. 30, 1940 in Jackson County, GA, Mrs. Beck was the daughter of the late Odell and Margie Pittman Barrett. She was preceded in death by sons, Glenn Beck, Randy Beck; brothers, Verdell Barrett, Virgil Barrett; sisters, Lorine Alexander and Rachel Roberts.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Beck, of the home; sons, Scotty (Teresa) Beck, Jason Beck; brothers, Amery Barrett, Wilburn Barrett; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Zack Hawks and Rev. Mike Stowers officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
