Mary Maddox Couch, 83, of Flowery Branch, GA, died Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 3 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 1 – 3 PM at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or the family request contributions be made to Good News At Noon, in memory of Mary. Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Chester E. Maddox and Jack R. Couch; brother, David Whatley. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Ford (Harold) of Monticello, GA, Alisa Martin of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Kristen Craig (Jon), Kelly Ford (Lauren), Ashley K. Lovering (Dean); great grandchildren, Victoria and Kelsey Craig, Talon Patterson; brother and sister, Michael K. Whatley (Ellen) of Jefferson, Brenda Coile of Homer; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was born in Stone Mountain, GA and was a lifelong resident of the metro Atlanta area.
