Jeffery Neal “Froggy” Manders

Mr. Jeffery Neal “Froggy” Manders, age 57, of Nicholson, GA died Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Manders was born in Commerce to Vernon and Mildred Wilson Manders of Commerce.  He was a member of the Baptist faith and owner of Manders Taxidermy.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Manders is survived by his wife, Loretta Jane Palmer Manders of Nicholson; daughters, Megan Holly Malcolm (Chad) and Marie Gail Archer (Mark) both of Nicholson and Mallory Jane Ballard (Dustin) of Hartwell; sisters, Sandra Ingram and Cindy Owensby both of Commerce and Lisa Swaim of Danielsville; grandchildren, Addison, Aubree and Oliver; along with three grandchildren on the way, Haylen, Babby A and Baby B.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Saturday, January 8 at Nicholson Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Duncan, Mr. Don Watkins and Rev. Russ Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4 to 8 PM.
