Nancy Hightower Tumlin

Nancy Hightower Tumlin, of Lumpkin County, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Nancy was born on May 18, 1949, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Albert and Mary Hightower.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Tumlin; Mother-in-law, Mattie Tumlin Hamlen, Dahlonega, GA; Jerry Tumlin, Waller, TX; daughter, Wendy Bowen, Cleveland, GA; grandchildren, Ella and Jesse Bowen, as well as extended family.

She loved her family and enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm at Dahlonega Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Phil Booth officiating.

The family wishes to express thanks to Hospice of Northeast Georgia for their loving and professional care.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
