Andrei Darius Andreica

Andrei Darius Andreica went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2021, at the age of 28.

Darius was born in Arad, Romania, on April 14, 1993 to his parents Mirela and Victor Andreica, as the youngest of three children. He emigrated with his parents and siblings (Sorin and Gabi) from Romania to Chicago, IL in June 1996. The family moved to Georgia in 1998.

As a child and young man, Darius was well liked by others because of his wit, humor and charm. He was friendly and outgoing and made people around him laugh and feel loved. He was adored by Gabi and Danny’s children: his nephews, Ethan and Caleb, and his niece, Audrey.

Darius was an active member of First Romanian Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA.  It was there that he received Jesus as his Lord and Savior and followed Him in water baptism at the age of 15 on January 1, 2009.  He was involved in various youth programs and served in the church’s brass band as a trumpet player.

Darius will be loved forever and greatly missed by his immediate family as well as his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2021 at 10 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Cristi Cocian will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. An evening service will be held Thursday, January 6, 2021 from 7:30 – 9 PM at the funeral home.
