Mary Sue White

Mrs. Mary Sue White age 73 of Gainesville, Ga passed away Wednesday December 29, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday December 31, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Michael Shubert will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday December 31, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sue was born on April 02, 1948 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Henry Clay Overby and Ethel Reed Overby. She was retired with Dundee Mills where she worked as a supervisor and was of the Baptist Faith. Sue enjoyed spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill White, son, Rodney White, and brother, Eddie Overby.

Mrs. Sue is survived by her children, William “Billy” White (Sheri) of Flowery Branch, Jeff White (Joy) of Alto, Jackie White of Gainesville, grandchildren, Haley (Ethan) Irvin of Pikeville, North Carolina, Grason (Emily) White of Commerce, Ga, Chris (Jenny) White of Toccoa, Ga, Nick White of Flowery Branch, Ga, C.J. White and Tayler White both of Cornelia, Ga, great-grandchildren, Riggins Irvin, James Irvin, Ben White, sisters, Judy Allen and Kathy Patrick, and a host of other close family members and friends.
