Joseph T. Dubie

Mr. Joseph T. Dubie, 77, of Toccoa, Georgia passed Thursday December 23, 2021.

A son of the late Orville and Eleanor Dubie, he was born in South Carolina but a life long resident of Stephens County Georgia. He worked for many years at Coats & Clarke.

He was a Navy Veteran, a loyal friend, an amazing father figure and Mentor, a dog lover, and Harley-Davidson and Ford enthusiast. He loved his country, his fellow veterans and those he considered his close friends.

He was a hardworking, honest man who led a simple life. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his brother Charles Dubie, a good friend Jonathon Dobson and several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Thursday December 30, 2021 at 3:30 PM at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Roger Elrod officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. til service time.

The following gentlemen will serve pallbearers Andrew House, Micheal Addis, Jonathan Dobson and Shawn Burton.

Entombment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with The United States Navy Honor Guard and V.F.W Post 4346 in charge of military honors.
