Sue Moon Mooney

Sue Moon Mooney, age 76, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Ethel Tullis Moon; sister, Carolyn Hightower.  She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Larry Mooney, Lawrenceville, GA; children, Anthony Keith (Amanda) Mooney, Commerce, GA, Jeff (Ellen) Mooney, Lawrenceville, GA, Timothy Scott (Teresa) Mooney, Lawrenceville, GA; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Johnnie Mae Barrett, Cumming, GA; sister-in-law, Shirley Jean Mooney Britt, Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Mooney was born on August 12, 1945 in Rome, GA.  She received her education at Warsaw High School.  Mrs. Mooney was a homemaker and a member Roanoke Baptist Church, Cumming, GA.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Rev. Jackie Mooney and Rev. Roger Knight officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
