Geraldine “Gerry” Diane DeMers

Mrs. Geraldine “Gerry” Diane DeMers, age 82, of Buford, GA passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 10:30 – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. DeMers was born February 13, 1939 to the late William F. & Dyanna Lee Skelton in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She grew up in Philadelphia and was a 1957 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School.  She worked at Sears until moving to Delran, New Jersey, where she was a homemaker and then became a Real Estate Agent.  Mrs. DeMers worked for Datapro Research Corp. from 1980-1997 as a Regional Sales Manager.  A die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, her children and grandchildren were her world.

Mrs. DeMers is survived by son, Richard DeMers of Buford; daughter, Lisa (Carl) Klenovich of Panama City Beach, Florida; and grandchildren, Timothy Richardson, Samantha Richardson and Todd Richardson all of Nashville, Tennessee.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Stratton DeMers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice in Memory of Mrs. DeMers.
