Mrs. Eugenia “Jean” Ann Davis Farmer age 87 of Toccoa passed away Saturday December 25, 2021 at her residence.
A daughter of the late Floyd and Mrytie Stowe Davis, she was born September 12, 1934 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all of her life. She was a graduate of Toccoa High School class of 1953. She worked at Collier’s Tea Room, LeTourneau and later retired from Coats and Clark. She was a member of First Baptist Church having served in the nursery and 2 year old class for 50 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Singing Saints, the Golden Girls and the Elks Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by three brothers H.T Davis, Bill Davis, Jim Davis and a sister Bonnie Singleton.
Survivors include her husband of sixty six years Howard Farmer Jr. of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law Renae and Eddie Addison of Martin and Sheri and Dan Ricketson of Panama City, Florida, grandchildren Brandon and Kayla Leverette, Eddie Jr. and Katie Addison, Hunter and Joanna Addison, Haley and Ian Sellers and five great-grandchildren Rhett Addison, Myles Addison, Evan Leverette, Bryan Leverette, Riley Sellers and several other family members.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 28, 2021 at 2 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Toccoa with the Reverend David Ritcey and the Reverend Brett Sanders officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Eddie Addison Jr. Hunter Addison, Eddie Addison, Brandon Leverette, Ian Sellers and Dan Ricketson.
Interment will follow in Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery.
