Linda Kelly Robinson Allison, age 80, passed away at her home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
Linda was born October 1, 1941 and lived in Stephens County. She was a member of The Pointe Church. Her parents were the late George William Kelly and late Reba Florine Kelly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, T.C Robinson, by one sister and brother and by her sister-in-law and best friend, Vinnie Bolmon.
Early on, she worked at many different places. She worked at Wrights Manufacturing and Coats and Clark. She also worked at Trogdon as a receiving clerk and also Marconi Electric. She retired from Save A Lot in 2017.
She enjoyed doing her word searches and loved going camping. She always loved making sure everyone was taken care of. She was always the one who would put others before herself.
Surviving family members include her daughter, Mindy (Johnny) Sayer; grandchildren, Brooke (Clayton) Smith and Mollie Sayer. She had many adopted grandchildren and loved her Foster Grandchildren very much. There were also many nieces and nephews who had a big part of her heart and had a very special friend, Dale Payne.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 24, 2021, 11 O’clock a.m. at The Pointe Church with Pastor Jerry Chitwood and Pastor Chad Smith officiating. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, James Alexander, Jeremy Beatenbough, Billy Buffington, Len Cleveland, Jody Defoor and Rex Robinson.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Linda Robinson Allison.
