Ralph O. Bruce

Ralph O. Bruce, 80, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday December 18, 2021 at Seasons Hospice following a period of declining health.

Born September 24, 1941, Ralph had been a resident of Dawsonville for most of his life.  He was a member of Winds of Peace Fellowship in Dawsonville where he enjoyed attending and loved his church family dearly.  A devoted husband and father, Ralph was a jack of all trades and skilled handy man, always helping his immediate and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Pearlie Bruce; son, Stanley Bruce; three brothers, RT, Barney, and Ray; four sisters, Nettie, Bobbie, Eunice, and Jane.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Edith Bruce of Dawsonville; son, Jeffery Bodean Bruce of Dawsonville; sisters and brothers in law, Kathryn and Tap Hubbard of Cumming, Janice and John Daniel, Judy Bruce, Carolyn and Lanny Hicks, Julie and Tim Honea, all of Dawsonville; sisters in law, Carolyn Bruce, Roxanne Bruce, both of Dawsonville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Tommy Panter and Rev. Tim Bennett will officiate.  Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday December 20 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
