Micah Wayne Peevy

Mr. Micah Wayne Peevy, age 46, of Marietta, GA, formerly of Buford, GA, passed away, Monday, December 13, 2021 at his home following a brief illness. He was born January 9, 1975, in Duluth, GA. Micah was preceded in death by his grandparents Harvey and Ruby "Lea" Ellsworth, Sidney "Ned" Peevy, Virginia Meyers, Bobby Lee, and Uncle Mickey Miller. He was a 1993 graduate from Buford High School. Micah loved music and being with family and friends and his niece and nephew. He loved sports especially football. Micah was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his loving companion, Crystal Gilleland and her sons, Daniel and Cody Butler of Ballground, GA; his parents, Wayne and Toni Peevy of McCaysville, GA; sister, Mamie and Mark Thomas of Blairsville, GA; brother, Daniel and Jennifer Peevy of Buford, GA; niece, Sydni Thomas; nephew, Lawson Peevy; aunts and uncles, Michelle and Chuck Scoggins, Janice and Bill Kelley, and Glenda and Billy O’Brien; several cousins also survive;

Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 3:00 p.m, at Flanigan Funeral Chapel in Buford, GA with Greg Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. If you wish in lieu of flowers you may make memorials to The Blake House of Bremen, GA.
