Kenneth Wayne Calhoun

Mr. Kenneth Wayne Calhoun age 80 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Wednesday December 15, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday December 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend James Kanaday will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday December 17, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kenneth was born on March 04, 1941 in Roanoke, Alabama to the late Ellis Calhoun and Evelyn Hodges Calhoun. He was a retired Electrician with J.M. Huber Company and was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Odie Mae Green Calhoun, and grandson, Michael Thomas.   

Mr. Calhoun is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steve Burke (Jane) of Lafayette, Alabama, daughter, Judy Lynn Wheeler of Gainesville, daughter, Sherry Kilby of Lula, daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Ferguson (Greg) of Gillsville, son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Calhoun (Sunshine) of Tyler, Texas, brother, Bill Calhoun of Roanoke Alabama, a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and a host of other family members and friends.
