Miss. Bonita Yvette Mack was born to the late James “Big Dude” Mack & Ms. Edith Slaughter in Gainesville, Ga on January 20, 1967.
Bonita was a member of Greater TimberRidge Baptist Church ever since she was brought home from birth. She was a member of the choir where she sang as a soprano.
Bonita graduated from East Hall High School class of 85. She always worked in the food service industry where she greeted everyone with the biggest smile until she began working at Northeast Ga Medical Center in 2019. Bonita loved cooking, watching her favorite cartoons, and she loved singing. Bonita was forgiving, compassionate, strong work ethic, strong willed, empathetic, authentic, loyal, and resilient.
She leaves to cherish her memory to her Mother Edith Slaughter of Gainesville, Ga. Son Juwon Merritt, Daughter Makita McMullen both of Gainesville, Ga. Sisters Jolane(Kenny) Mack, Danna Jones of the Gainesville, Ga, brother Mr. Travon ( Kimma) Mack of Gainesville, Ga. Nieces Akelia Mack, Bre’on Jones, Carlessia Jones, Jasmine Hendrix. Nephews Tyrone Hendrix, Ian Mack, and Chasen Jones, and a host of cousins. Special friend Sean Roberts.
The visitation will be held Wednesday, December 15th at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12-8pm. Miss. Bonita’s Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 16th at the hour of 2pm at Greater TimberRidge Baptist Church. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
