Harry J.C. Martin

Mr. Harry J.C. Martin, 26, of Commerce, GA passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Piedmont Hospital in Athens, GA.

A Celebration to honor his Love, Life and Memory will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:20 p.m. until the service hour.

Born on February 1, 1995 in Gainesville, he was the son of Sara Faith Phillips and of Jeffrey Charles Martin. Harry was a joy filled man who loved to make those around him laugh. Jesus was his best friend. Harry was a Christian. Harry possessed the truest, purest spirit of unadulterated love and spread his goodness and love to everyone he met, brightening the world with his shining light of love. He will be missed tremendously and our hearts will grieve him exceedingly until we are reunited again but we also rejoice that Harry has been set free and is no longer bound to his wheelchair and physical limitations.

Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Delores Totherow.

Mr. Martin is survived by his mother and stepdad, Sara Faith Totherow Phillips and T. J. Phillips; father, Jeffrey Martin; brother, Jonathan Martin; grandmother, Faye Martin and a multitude of aunts, uncles, and other loving relatives.
