John George DuMond

Mr. John George DuMond, age 83, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021.  Mr. DuMond was born on April 12, 1938, in Binghamton, New York, to the late Raoul and Theda Johnson DuMond.  He loved to sing and especially loved Elvis.  Mr. DuMond enjoyed being outdoors and you could find him swimming, walking or fishing in his spare time.  He also had a love for old cars.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Dana DuMond and brother Dickie DuMond.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor DuMond of Dahlonega, Georgia; sons John DuMond of Syracuse, New York, Steven (Louanne) DuMond of Homer, New York, and David DuMond of Dahlonega, Georgia; daughter Diane (Paul) DuMond Ignatowski of McGraw, New York; grandchildren Derek DuMond, Christopher DuMond, Juliann DuMond, Evan Ignatowski, and Dylan Ignatowski; great-grandchildren Austin, Natalie, Corbin, Zaidyn; sisters Ann DuMond and Betty Gensler (Robert).
