Rev. Ronald Lanier "Bullet" Tatum

Rev. Ronald Lenair "Bullet" Tatum, 86, of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at First Congregational Holiness Church. Rev. Keith Phagan, Rev. Bobby Griffin and Rev. Clarence Reynolds will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday December 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on April 1, 1935 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Roland Robert and Ola Mae Brown Tatum. Rev. Tatum retired from Wofford Leather Company in 1996 where he was a leather Craftsman. He was known for teaching and preaching the book of Revelation and the word of Christ for 63 years.

A loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Rev. Tatum is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Frances Tatum of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Vicky Tatum Watkins (Joel) of Flowery Branch; son and daughter in law, Robert Lamar Tatum (Glynda) of Clermont; grandchildren, Haley Jones (Mike), Bethany Floyd (Mark), Michael Tatum (Amy), Brandon Tatum (Darren), Chuck Grizzle (Tonya), Rick Grizzle (Jill), Tonya Parker (Damien); 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
