Mrs. Darlene Almeta Williams, age 61 of W. Currahee Street, Toccoa passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at her residence.
A daughter of the late E.V. and Dorothy Cheek Williams, she was born June 24, 1960 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. He was employed with Habersham Retreat as a caregiver and was a member of Safe Harbor Church of God. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Williams and by two sisters, Bertha Ramsey and Margaret Jenkins.
Survivors include her life partner, Frank Lanier of Lavonia, Georgia; daughter, Samantha Moore of Toccoa; sons and daughter-in-law, Matthew Moore and Alice Burton of Toccoa and Christopher Wade of Alto, Georgia; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Furman Williams of Carnesville, Georgia; sisters, Betty Adams, Jeanette Chapman and Barbara Richardson all of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Safe Harbor Church of God with The Reverend Ralph Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Safe Harbor Church of God, 377 Davis Road, Eastanollee, Georgia 30538 in memory of Mrs. Darlene Almeta Williams.
