Greg Harold Roach

Greg Harold Roach, age 69, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Roach;  mother, Dorothy “Dot” Holman Shaw; step-father, Mr. Shaw.  He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Chan Free Roach, Buford, GA; daughter, Diana Blihovde, Cleveland, GA; grandchildren, Steven Black, Cartersville, GA, Savannah Blihovde, Cleveland, GA, Brianna Blihovde, Cleveland, GA, Kale Blihovde, Cleveland, GA; brothers, Barry (Jenny) Roach, Lawrenceville, GA, Scott Roach, Leesburg, FL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Phyllis Free, Flowery Branch, GA; nephews, Matthew Roach, Bucky Free; aunts, Jeannette Holman, Lauren, SC, Christine Tuggle Refinati, Buford, GA; His special cat “Minute”; several cousins.  Mr. roach was born on May 13, 1952 in Buford, GA.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.  He received his education at North Gwinnett High School, Sugar Hill, GA and his Associates Degree from Dekalb Community College.  Mr. Roach was a carpenter and a member of Lanier Church of God.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Lanier Church of God, Buford, GA with Pastor Jimmy Dunn officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at Lanier Church of God.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FUR Kids, 5235 Union Hill Rd., Cumming, GA  30040 in memory of Greg Roach.
