Geneva Evelyn Allen

Geneva Evelyn Allen, age 87, of Clermont, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021. 

Ms. Allen was born in Cleveland to the late Ollie and Ada Dover Allen.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Patti Slater; brothers, Joe Allen, Ed Allen, and Jack Allen; and sister, Loraine Frank.  Ms. Allen was a transcriptionist for Lanier Park Hospital and for Northeast Georgia Medical Center, as well as Dr. Ken Dixon.

Survivors include grandsons, Lamar Slater and Kevin Slater; 4 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Charlene Allen; half-brother, Ralph Allen; and sister-in-law, Leona Allen.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the funeral home.
