H. Garold Jordan 73 of Marietta, formerly of Maysville, GA passed away Dec. 3, 2021. He was the son of the late Hollis and Francine Kesler Jordan.Mr. Jordan was a graduate of Georgia State University and the Cumberland Law School Samford University, Birmingham, AL.
Along with his partner Leigh R. Bodner they formed the law offices of Jordan & Bodner and practiced in Atlanta for over 35 years.
His law partner said of Mr. Jordan, “He was a real Renaissance man who loved art, architecture, music, and history. He had a deep love for the law, and we would spend hours discussing legal theories and tactics. He took immense pride in being an attorney and was committed to justice for his clients.”
He is survived by two brothers, Steve Jordan of Athens and Ronnie Jordan of Auburn, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Jordan.
Services for Mr. Jordan will be Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021 at 4 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
