On January 5, 1987, a miracle was born to Cicily Youmans in Fulton County, GA. Danielle, nicknamed "Danni," weighed less than 2 pounds at birth and spent time in neonatal intensive care. Upon release, she was welcomed into the home of James and Dorothy Jean Evans Thomas.
Danielle was given the middle name Latrice and the last name Thomas at the age of five.
She graduated from East Hall High School and formed many lifelong friendships while employed at Zaxby's, Walmart, Chick-fil-A, and Publix Supermarket. Most recently, she began a home-based childcare service and found a true passion for working with children.
Danni was "a natural comedian" and is known for her bright, beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and genuinely loving and compassionate spirit. Danni loved spending time with her loved ones, listening to music, taking tons of selfies, and enjoying her good days as they came. Over the past few years, health-related issues resulted in the most challenging years for Danni. She leaves us now and is no longer in pain.
Danni is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Jean Evans Thomas. She leaves to cherish her memory, her birth Mother Cicily Youmans her father, James Edward Thomas; her sisters, Holly (Stephon) Simmons, Shamia (Quinton) Ward, Crystal (James) Patmon, her brother Donovan McNeal and her Goddaughters Jiah Trip and Myah "MooMoo" Brigham, her grandmother Gloria Daniels. Additionally, Danni was an aunt, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, and a wonderful friend to many more who have been touched by her kind soul.
Those blessed to know her will remember her fondly and always remember how she showed her love. As we say "I love you" to Danielle, let's remember her reply, which was always, "I love you more!"
Danielle's visitation will be held Saturday, December 4th between the hours of 12-8pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Her Celebration of Life will be Sunday, December 5th at Alta Vista Cemetery at the hour of 2pm. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
