Franklin Smallwood

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Franklin Jesse Smallwood, age 46, of Commerce, Georgia, who passed away on November 29, 2021. Mr. Smallwood was born in Athens, Georgia, a son to the late Jesse William Smallwood and the late Edna Lee Butler Smallwood. Mr. Smallwood was a Plumber, working for Beeco Construction and was a member of the Arcade Pentecostal Oneness Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smallwood was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Smallwood.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Brittany Wade; sons, Brian Cole and Tevin Scott; sisters, Sandy Smallwood, Martha Meek and Lynn Bryant; brother, Johnny Smallwood, seven nieces, four nephews and fifteen great nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Arcade Pentecostal Oneness Church in Arcade, Georgia with Rev. Elaine Bryant officiating.
