Shannon Christine Cohrs, 25, Smyrna, Georgia departed this world for her home in heaven on Monday, November 29, 2021. While she left behind countless broken hearts, there is a bit of comfort in that her Uncle Brett was likely the first one in line to welcome her home!
Shannon was born to Colleen Ferencz and Jim Cohrs in Somerville, New Jersey on December 2, 1995. By the age of 2 she had made the journey down to Georgia with the rest of her extended family. Over the years she lived in several Metro-Atlanta communities. Recently Shannon was promoted to the head assistant for Cosmetic Dental Solutions in Johns Creek. Shannon had an infectious personality, and she would always light up a room. She had a tremendously generous spirit and would give the shirt off her back to help another. Her smile, her laugh, and her genuinely compassionate heart is what will be missed the most.
Shannon is survived by her mother, Colleen Bowers; stepfather, Shane Bowers; siblings Tyler, Jack, Jayce and Evie; her father, Jim Cohrs, stepmother Brooke Cohrs; siblings, Cameron and Lucas; grandparents, Ken and Marion Ferencz; grandparents, Mike and Bernice Bowers; grandfather, Herbert Cohrs; grandmother, Barbara Cohrs.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of this beautiful soul on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at The Bridge Church, 607 Hulsey Road, Cleveland, Georgia, 30528. They will begin receiving guests at 3:00 PM with the official memorial service beginning at 4:00 PM.
