Travis Gunter Brown

Travis Gunter Brown, age 94, of Buford, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Herman Brown; parents, Cullis and Grace Fowler Gunter; brother, Randall Wesley Gunter.  She is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Mike) Croft of Buford, GA; sons, Phil (Brenda) Brown, Dale (Stacey) Brown, both of Buford, GA; grandson, Zachary Garland Brown; great-granddaughter, Shelby Grace Brown; step-grandchildren; Jamie (Brian) Ward, Jeff (Rebecca) Croft, Morgan (Kayla) Ward, Jacob Ward, Berkley Croft; nephew, Wesley Randall (Danielle) Gunter; great nephew, Chris Jarrard; great nieces, Cole, Hannah, Halle Gunter; several cousins.  Mrs. Brown was born on March 8, 1927 in Buford, GA.  She received her education at Sunny Hill, Gravel Springs School.  Mrs. Brown worked for Bona Allen, co-owned H.W. Fashion and worked along side her husband Herman Brown.  She was a life time member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Brown enjoyed traveling and was a member of Hardee’s Breakfast Club.  A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021, in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Hyo Kim.  Interment will follow at Rock Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville, GA.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
