Eva Angela Boraski, née Fedor

Obituary Date: Monday, November 29, 2021

Eva Angela Boraski, née Fedor, 76, of Flowery Branch, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 after a four and a half year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born on March 16, 1945, in Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary, Eva emigrated to the United States at the age of twelve years old. She graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Psychology and worked for some time as a Social Worker for the State Division of Youth and Family Services.

She was a faithful Catholic who regularly attended weekly services. She volunteered to teach religious education to children for a number of years at Our Lady of the Mount Church while raising her family in Warren Township, NJ. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch.

Mrs. Boraski travelled widely and was a regular and avid patron of live performances of all kinds, visual arts, and cultural experiences. This inspired her to experiment with and proudly share unique creations of her own, from sculptural wall hangings made from natural materials, to scrapbooks, photo albums, and paintings.

Eva was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was especially dedicated to taking care of her mother in her later years. Throughout her life, she always cherished calling, writing, and visiting numerous loved ones, both in America and Europe. Often wishing to have a larger family, she treated many close friends as if they were. Her warm heart and giving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva Carolina Heinlein and John A Fedor. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Edward A. Boraski of Flowery Branch, her son, Chris Boraski and granddaughter, Kayleigh Boraski of Montgomery, NJ.

A Memorial Service to honor her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Memorial Park South Chapel. The family will receive friends before the service from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center for their loving care. We suggest that in lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to the Hospice of NGMC or the American Cancer Society.
