Trudy D. Hamby

Mrs. Trudy D. Hamby, 68, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Pond Fork Baptist Church. Rev. Chris Hulsey and Rev. Johnny Knight will officiate. Interment will follow in Pond Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, November 29th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on April 24, 1953 in Rising Fawn, GA, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Frank Dyer and the late Nellie Louise Castleberry Dyer. She was retired from the Dental Industry and was a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hamby is preceded in death by her husband, James Hamby; daughter, Sheila Reeves and sisters, Brenda Dyer and Velvet Dyer.

Mrs. Hamby is survived by her son, David Reeves of Gainesville; daughter, Karen Patterson of Gainesville; sons, Michael Reeves and Cody Reeves Hamby of Gainesville; daughters, Cristy Phillips of Gainesville, Susan Roberts (Wayne) of FL, Beth Hamby and Pat Coffman of Cleveland, Wanda Hamby of Gainesville; sisters and brothers in law, Judy Martin (Summie) of Gainesville, Lisa Underwood (Keith) of Gainesville; grandchildren, Lauren Patterson, Levi Patterson, Talon Patterson, Savannah Reeves and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
