FRANKLIN “STANLEY” THOMAS, 81, of Gainesville passed away November 26, 2021.

The Funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel the family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the funeral home.

He was born March 19, 1940 in Hall County, Georgia. He was a graduate of East Hall High School Class of 1959. He lived in Gainesville, Georgia for most of his life. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was retired from New Holland Mill with over 30 years of service. In addition to his parents Rash and Cordie Maybelle (Free) Thomas, he was preceded in death by brothers, Howard, Edward, Walt, Junior Glenn and Henry Thomas, sisters Thelma Hamilton. Ila Mae Williams, Sarah Ash.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his loving wife Nancy and children and their spouses David & Rebeca Thomas and Robert & Carolyn OCamb and a grandson Robert Thomas “Tommy” & Kaitlin Ocamb, and a sister Evelyn Logan.

He enjoyed stamp and coin collecting. He loved his family tremendously and was proud of them.
