Glenda Hardy Kitchens

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Glenda Hardy Kitchens, age 70, of Carnesville, who passed away in the comfort of her home on Wednesday November 24, 2021.
 
Mrs. Kitchens was the daughter of the late William Lewis Hardy and the late Mary Woods Hardy. She was proceeded in death by her husband Roy Kitchens, brothers, Billy and Kenneth Hardy, sister Barbra Parson. Mrs. Kitchens was a loving mother and homemaker.
 
Survivors include her sons, Michael Kitchens of Hartwell, Steve Kitchens, of Danielsville, daughter, Tina Kitchens of Carnesville, one sister, Mary Ann Ashe. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
 
Services for Mrs. Kitchens will be Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Toby Dyer officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the service. Burial will be in the Kitchens Family Cemetery.
 
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Athens Piedmont Oncology Department. The family will gather at their residences after the services.
