Johnny Virl Hughes

Johnny Virl Hughes, Sr., age 73, of Cumming, GA passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. He was born in 1947, to the late Vernie & Alice Hughes. He was a Christian and a member of the ROTC while he was in high school. He was an active member of the Shriners working at the children’s hospitals. Johnny was very patriotic. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Glenda Hughes.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl Martha Hughes; son & daughter-in-law, Johnny & Becky Hughes; son, Tony Pye; sister, Linda Hughes Pritchard; grandchildren, John Hughes, Jamie Hughes, Jeremy Hughes and Jennifer Dunn; great-grandchildren, Camden Dunn, Audrey Dunn and Torstyn Dunn; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA.
