Milton Larry Strickland

Milton Larry Strickland (age 71) of Toccoa, Georgia passed away on November 13, 2021 after a very hard fought battle with an aggressive Lymphoma.

Larry was born on December 6, 1949 in Athens, Georgia. He spent most of his life in the Athens Area and attended The University of Georgia. He moved to Toccoa, Georgia in 2001. He was an avid gear head and loved all things classic car related. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Allen Strickland. He was also preceded in death by his step father and mother, James and Ruth Griffin.

Larry loved Jesus and was a member of 12 Stone Church in Dacula, Georgia. He was also a proud member of the Tres Dias community.

Larry is survived by his loving wife and companion of over 20 years, Glenda. He is also survived by daughter Lisa (Brennan) Bredl of West Virginia and granddaughter Eliza Ruth and bonus daughters, Jennifer Bennett of Nairobi, Kenya and Becki (Jeremy) McElroy of Hoschton, Georgia and grandsons, Grant and Gage McElroy.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the VFW Post (270 West Savannah Street) in Toccoa, Georgia. Please dress casual.
