John “Hillbilly” Raymond O'Dell

John “Hillbilly” Raymond O’Dell, age 59, of Cumming, GA passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. He was born in 1962, to John Robert and Joyce Marie O’Dell. He was a member of County Line Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA. John enjoyed old cars, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He worked for Larry Evans Trucking Company for many years. He is preceded in death by his father, John Robert O’Dell; son, Michael Keith O’Dell, grandparents, Raymond and Leonies Piez; sister, Jean Marie O’Dell, and father-in-law, Thomas Lawton Chadwick.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Yvonne O’Dell; mother, Joyce Pruitt; children, John Andrew O’Dell, and Tifany Yvonne O’Dell; brother, Brian Keith (Renita) O’Dell; grandchildren, Maggie, Gus, and John Wesley O’Dell; mother-in-law, Carol Chadwick; brother-in-law, Clint Chadwick; nieces and nephew, Emily O’Dell, Felicia Chadwick, and Tommy Chadwick; great nieces and nephews, Colton, Bentley, Phoenix, and Abigail; along with furry friend, Gracie.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Bro. Keith Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
