Michael Ray Hooper

Mr. Michael Ray Hooper, age 76 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for Sunday, November 28, 2021at 3:00 pm at Alta Vista Cemetery.  Reverend Lance Fuller will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 2 – 3 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mr. Hooper was born May 27, 1945 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late John Francis Hooper and Jessie Payne Hooper.  He was retired from Lucent Technologies and was a member of Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church.  Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Kim Hooper.

Mr. Hooper is survived by his nephew & his wife, Greg & Brandy Hooper of Gainesville, great-nephew, Zachary Hooper of Gainesville, brother & sister-in-law, Raymond & Helen Hooper of Gainesville and a number of aunts & uncles.
